We affectionately take time and take care of wine.

This is our basic idea.

Carefully selected genuine quality
For our Chateau Charmant vintage wine, we harvest grapes in our own vineyards and contracted vineyards, and then we select by trees and by clusters. As a result, we use healthy, limited, vintage year material grapes which are more than 20 Brix degree of sugar content.
We take care of fermentation, take a full year for clarification and maturation.

Our vintage wines
We mature another 1 to 3 years, then bottle and mature another a few years.
We ship after this, with 5 to 6 total maturing years.
By maturing in bottles for a long time, our vintage wines polymerize and
produce higher amino acid, the flavors settle, with these effects doubled
by the polymerization of many minerals and polyphenols.
All of these make our wines healthy.

Our selected material grapes
Standing at 600 meters above sea level in Yamanashi Prefecture, well known area for cultivating grapes, our winery is blessed with cool weather and rich soil, like Bordeaux in France. Since we started to cultivate 12 European kinds of grapes in 1964, we have been studying and learning by trial and error.
By experiencing these, now we are succeeding in cultivating high quality grapes of Cabernet Franc, Semillon and Chardonnay.
